What's this about?

Bond
The Riverside Elementary School District is asking voters to approve an $85 million bond sale to fund new facility construction and renovation, safety and security enhancements, technology and equipment, and new student transportation.

(DAA) Capital Override
The district is also requesting voters continue the current DAA capital override. If approved, this measure will allow the Riverside District to purchase student technology, textbooks, and furniture and make needed repairs to school facilities.

This is NOT a new tax and will not increase the district's property tax rate.

  • Provide hands-on, engaging learning opportunities that prepare students for future careers.

Maintain Funding and Same Tax Rate

  • The override is a renewal, not a new tax, and maintains the current tax rate.

About Our Riverside Elementary School District

The Riverside Elementary School District, located in southwest Phoenix, is one of the oldest school districts in Maricopa County.

Founded in 1872, it traditionally served a rural farming community with low population. Today, housing subdivisions and modern life require a different educational focus for our students.

The district has upgraded classroom technology, introduced interactive tools, and shifted its curriculum to meet future needs while serving over 800 students.
